Prudential Supervision: Sustainable Inclusive Finance
Climate change disproportionately affects low-income countries and vulnerable populations. Inclusive finance plays a critical role in enabling these groups to build resilience, recover from climate shocks, and participate in a just green transition.
Climate risks threaten financial stability, and financial instability can, in turn, worsen financial exclusion, creating a vicious cycle, especially in emerging and developing economies.
The interaction explores the impact of climate change on inclusive finance, sustainable finance, and the role of prudential supervision in climate-related regulation.
