The Capstone Project is designed to bring together all you have learned in the course and apply it to a scenario.

The aim of the project is to provide you with a tangible take-away that demonstrates your ability to apply risk-based supervision to address the emerging risks in DFS and to make DFS more inclusive.

This final capstone is out of 100 marks. Your total will then be converted to a score out of 30.

The Tasks:

  1. Develop a 5-Year Strategy for Data-Driven RBS of DFS

  2. Prepare a Pilot Proposal for AI and Data Quality to reduce financial exclusion while improving AML/CFT effectiveness.

  3. Develop a 1-Page Executive Summary.

Please note the following:

  1. The scenario uses synthetic (fictional) data and a fictitious country profile to enable realistic practice without representing any specific jurisdiction.

  2. Numbers used within the scenario are illustrative and created solely for training purposes.

  3. We estimate that you should dedicate 3 – 4 hours per week for the remaining two weeks of the course to completing this capstone project.
