Innovative Working Groups/ Communities of Practice

In addition to the class calls for the Online Course, you will be required to participate in person in Community of Practice (CoP) meetings held at a location near you and supported by a DFI-appointed CoP Facilitator. These meetings provide a structured space for peer learning and applying course concepts to real-world practice.

Four CoP meetings are planned to be held as follows:

  1. Welcome and Orientation (Week 1 - 2)
  2. Discussion of Course Content in Context and Capstone Prep (Week 5 - 6)
  3. Capstone Reflection and Applications for Own Context (Week 9)
  4. Applying Learnings to Practice (Week 11/12)

CoP meeting format:

CoP meetings are facilitated by an in-country facilitator and held in person at an agreed time with peers. Each meeting is interactive and discussion-based and typically lasts 60 minutes.

The Facilitator will guide discussions, help connect course content to local practice, and support capstone development and implementation.

You can expect to take part in :

  • Guided group discussions
  • Sharing practical experiences
  • Peer feedback on ideas and challenges
  • Structured support for your Capstone projects.

Your CoP Facilitator will be in contact with you to set up these meetings.

If you do not hear from your Facilitator or have any queries about the working groups, please contact Andile or Kauthar, the Programme Managers for this course, and they will assist you.
