Meet Your Learning Facilitator

Hello and Welcome,

My name is Cedric Moubitang, and I will be your learning facilitator. I’m looking forward to being one of your academic partners over the next 8 weeks. As your learning facilitator, I’ll be an important point of contact for you throughout the course – we’ll discuss key topics together in the classroom, and I’ll guide you through your projects, and you can message me on this platform with any questions that you may have.

Please interact with your classmate and me using the following:

• The comment feature at the end of each post – here you will respond to discussion questions, express an opinion or add an interesting article. This feature is a very important tool that encourages peer-to-peer learning. We encourage robust participation.
• The course notice board – here I will post important information.
• The messaging feature – here you can message a specific classmate or use this feature to contact me directly. Note that these can be considered personal conversations as they will not be open for others to see.
• Class call attendance and participation are essential as areas of difficulty, assignments, or real-time sharing of ideas and insights enrich your learning experience. Be sure to note the dates of the class calls in your calendar.

The best way to pass this course and get the most out of it is to participate early, often, and repeatedly!

Your goal is to collect at least 96 points via the activities available to you each week.

In addition, if you know you’ll be away from the course for a week or so, send me a message to let me know of your absence.

Top achievers will be recognized for going over and beyond 100 points.

This first week is a chance for you to get used to the platform and how the course is organized.  The course officially starts on Sunday, 8 February 2026.
